51,857 food insecure populations during lean season June – August 2019. Food availability was satisfactory with positive impact on food security. Indeed, Cereal production increased by 9% and 21% and compared with the last years’ and the 5-year average respectively. Access to food is generally good across the country. This notwithstanding, prices of staples foods increased across the country.
